Jeff Shoemaker

I’m Jeff, a 24-year-old photographer and Information Systems graduate from UNR with a passion for capturing moments that last beyond the instant. I first discovered photography in high school through a class that sparked my creativity, and I found myself drawn back to it at the beginning of college. What started as a class project quickly grew into a side hobby — and eventually into something much bigger.

Since then, I’ve explored a wide range of photography, from the energy of marching band performances to the stillness of landscapes, the personality of portraits, and the thrill of aviation and automotive subjects. I especially love experimenting with long exposures, finding new ways to make light and motion tell a story.

For me, photography is about more than just images — it’s about capturing emotion, movement, and perspective in ways that words can’t.
